NATIONAL CONFERENCE

This year, ASOCOPI is delighted to celebrate the 61st National and 7th International ASOCOPI Annual Conference, titled Transforming ELT Contexts: Saberes Glocales, Diversities, and AI, invites educators, researchers, and practitioners to rethink English language teaching as a field shaped by contextual realities and global challenges. The conference focuses on three interconnected themes. Diversities recognize the multiple identities, languages, and knowledges that coexist in ELT classrooms and communities, encouraging reflection on inclusive practices and the visibility of diverse perspectives. Saberes Glocales highlight the dialogue between local knowledges and global perspectives, emphasizing situated, community-based ways of knowing and doing that enrich ELT practices. AI in ELT explores the impact of artificial intelligence on teaching and learning, addressing its potential for personalization and innovation while critically examining issues of equity and contextual relevance. Together, these strands invite participants to envision ELT as a transformative, inclusive, and forward-looking field
