CALL FOR PROPOSALS IS OPEN
STEPS IN SUBMITTING A PROPOSAL
1. Read all the instructions and guideline
2. Select the Type of sessions
3. Complete and submit the Proposal Form.
4. After May 20th,2025 check the Proposal Status here.
5. If your proposal is accepted complete the process by paying the presenter’s registration fee by June 15th, 2025.
6. Register in the section Annual Conference /Register and Fees.

TYPE OF SESSIONS : In the conference program, each abstract will be labeled with the following descriptions so participants will know what they are signing up for in the Concurrent Sessions .
Research report (35 minutes) : S essions in which presenters report on partial or final results of research studies. Each presentation lasts 35 minutes, leaving some minutes for questions and discussion .
Pedagogical experience (45 minutes): Sessions in which presenters share pedagogical applications of theories or language teaching approaches. Each presentation lasts 35 minutes, followed by 10 minutes for questions and discussion.
Lecture (35 minutes): Sessions in which presenters focus on state-of-the-art of any of the event themes, theoretical reflections, or critical appraisal of theories or language teaching methodologies or approaches. Each presentation lasts 35 minutes, leave some minutes for questions and discussion.
Publisher/commercial (45 minutes): Sessions in which presenters introduce pedagogical materials, tests, language teaching approaches, work or study abroad opportunities, or offer any other type of service related to language teaching and learning. Each presentation lasts 35 minutes, followed by 10 minutes for questions and discussion.
Demonstration (45 minutes): Sessions in which presenters demonstrate and provide practical elements for language teaching and evaluation. Although the presentation of a solid theoretical background is expected, most of the session should be devoted to show practical applications of pedagogical strategies. Each presentation lasts 35 minutes, followed by 10 minutes for questions and discussion.
Colloquium (60 minutes): A discussion about one of the event themes among maximum four and minimum three scholars, one of which should act as a moderator. The session includes a short time for each panelist to present his/her point of view on the subject, a time for interaction among the panelists and a final period of time for interaction between them and the audience. Besides the coordination of the discussion, the moderator is also responsible for recruiting the other panelists and sending the panel proposal to the organizing committee. Each presentation lasts 50 minutes, followed by 10 minutes for questions and discussion.
